April 4-5, 2009
Fairs and Festivals keep Webster County’s tourist base afloat, offering experiences rivaling any in the State, and in many cases, the rest of the Nation! The floating comes as no pun to the first festival in the county each year, the Webster Wildwater Weekend River Festival. Whitewater enthusiasts traverse rivers in and around Webster Springs in various competitive and recreational trips.

12:00 -Downriver Race begins

The Webster County Woodchopping Festival, is the Southeastern Conference Championship for timbersports and puts the chips in the air as the competition heats up to crown a champion, in addition to putting over $25,000 in prize money on the block!
